For Xmas a couple years back, I got my dog Phineas a pet cat.  (Named Moxy) She was given to me by the human society, an extremely tiny kitten that happened to have clubbed front feet.  Due to her deformities no one wanted her, but the people wanted her to go to a good home, thus she was given to me, and I in turn introduced her to Phineas.  A few years of them playing and snuggling, her feet are strong and they are the best of friends.
